Working remotely on a full-time basis, the CPC Certified Coder II will focus on reviewing physician documentation to resolve coding denials, ensuring accurate coding for reimbursement, and maintaining productivity standards during business hours. Key responsibilities: Utilize computer applications to efficiently complete the coding process and maintain charge lag standards Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries to ensure accurate coding Monitor and resolve coding edits and denials to optimize reimbursement and meet accuracy standards Required qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an approved certified coding program preferred Proficient computer skills, with knowledge of MS Excel preferred Minimum of 3 years coding experience or CPC certification required Eligible for CPC or CPC specialty certification Completion of coursework in Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Medical Terminology, ICD-10-CM, and CPT Coding Guidelines and Procedures preferred
