Ensuring coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time remote Radiology Coding Auditor will perform complex radiology coding, conduct quality assurance reviews, and audit work completed by external coding partners while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and reimbursement outcomes. Key responsibilities Perform complex radiology coding and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct quality assurance reviews and identify opportunities for improvement in coding operations Collaborate with coding leadership and revenue cycle teams to drive continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory guidelines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of recent radiology coding experience, including PET and/or Nuclear Medicine CPC or RCC certification required; CPMA and RCC-IR certifications preferred Experience conducting coding audits and resolving coding denials Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and radiology reimbursement methodologies
