Job Description

To support the coding of Interventional Radiology services, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Medical Coder will identify appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes, review clinical notes for compliance, and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams, all while enjoying the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. Key responsibilities: Identify and assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes for various Interventional Radiology services and acute care encounters Review clinical notes to ensure complete charge capture and adherence to coding guidelines Collaborate with providers and internal teams to resolve coding queries and documentation issues Required qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Professional coder certification with credentialing from AHIMA and/or AAPC to be maintained annually 2+ years of outpatient facility coding experience 2+ years of experience working with ICD-10 Ability to use a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
