To support a growing practice, the full-time CPC Certified Plastic Surgery Coder will code physician plastic surgery charges, communicate coding rationale to physicians, and manage inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery coding in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Code physician plastic surgery charges and communicate rationale to physicians Handle inpatient and outpatient plastic surgery coding Ensure accurate coding for trauma surgery and breast reconstruction related to plastics Required qualifications CPC certification from AAPC High School Diploma/GED (relevant experience may substitute for formal education) 3+ years of experience coding for plastic surgery Experience in trauma surgery coding related to plastics Knowledge of breast reconstruction coding and flaps and adjacent tissue transfer
