Providing expert writing and editing support, the remote, full-time Associate Director, Medical Writing - Publications will ensure the timely production of high-quality documents for publication in medical/scientific journals and presentations at meetings.
Key responsibilities
Manage and review data and source documents for publication needs while developing publication plans and strategies
Engage with internal and external authors and stakeholders to oversee the publication review system and project management
Direct and edit outsourced medical writers for selected therapeutic area publications
Required qualifications
A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/scientific field
Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry, including the compilation of research reports or publications
Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge across therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology is preferred
