Job Description

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the CPC Certified Coder II will code complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring compliance with official coding guidelines and payor standards. Key responsibilities Code provider office and hospital charges for various departments based on operative notes and procedural documentation Interpret complex surgical services and evaluation and management services to ensure accurate coding Maintain compliance with official coding guidelines and payor standards in all coding activities Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding 3 years of complex surgical and E&M coding experience in a healthcare setting CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required Experience coding in specialties such as OB/Gyn, Gastrointestinal, Neurology, Orthopedics, and more
