Job Details - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,405 - $1,561

- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Requirements - At least 1 year of billing and coding experience in a hospital setting
- Current coding certification or recent completion of a coding program
- Strong knowledge of hospital coding guidelines, medical documentation standards, and reimbursement practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with healthcare and revenue cycle teams
Responsibilities - Review and assign accurate codes for hospital-based services, diagnoses, and procedures
- Ensure coding is compliant with applicable regulations, payer requirements, and internal standards
- Support billing processes through timely and precise code assignment
- Analyze clinical documentation to determine appropriate code selection
- Communicate with internal teams as needed to clarify documentation and resolve coding-related issues
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing assigned coding work queues
