Job Description

As a full-time, remote Texas Licensed Nurse Coder, the professional will provide coding expertise and clinical support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement coding initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities: Partner with clinical and operational teams on coding initiatives, providing strategic guidance for implementation Develop and promote standardized coding methodologies to ensure accurate and compliant benefit digitization Manage procedure and service code groupings, maintaining coding integrity through quality oversight and adherence to regulations Required qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA) Active unrestricted nursing license 3+ years of experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
