Working remotely in Washington State, the full-time Professional Fee Coder will be responsible for accurately abstracting professional fee diagnosis and procedural codes from physician documentation in accordance with CMS/HCFA guidelines while collaborating with compliance and clinical teams. Key responsibilities Abstract relevant diagnosis and procedural codes from physician documentation Collaborate with compliance, clinical departments, and the Revenue Cycle team Address account problems using EPIC as needed Required qualifications Completion of a credentialed Professional Fee Coding Course Minimum of two years of experience in medical coding or related fields Certification as a CPC-A, CPC, or specialty AAPC coding certification, or CCS-P through AHIMA
