Cognizant is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder for a remote, work-from-home role in the United States. You will review and resolve denied or rejected medical claims, communicate with physicians for clarifications, and assign accurate codes using an encoder while adhering to policy and regulatory guidelines.
The position requires CPC/COC/CCC/CIRCC and AHIMA RHIT/RHIA/CCS certifications, EPIC and 3M Encoder experience, and a minimum of three years inpatient coding experience.
