Cognizant is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder for a remote, work-from-home role in the United States. You will review and resolve denied or rejected medical claims due to coding errors and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate coding and billing.
You will query physicians for clarification, apply ICD-10-CM/PCS codes using our encoder tools, and maintain an accuracy rate of at least 98% while meeting productivity expectations set by Cognizant and clients.
