To support high-risk obstetrics coding, the full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Professional Coder will manage complex coding tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance while working remotely from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Texas. Key responsibilities Code complex professional encounters and procedures, ensuring correct sequencing and documentation alignment Resolve coding-related edits and denials by identifying root causes and coordinating documentation clarification Provide real-time guidance to peers on coding scenarios and participate in internal quality review programs Required qualifications High School diploma or GED required At least 3 years of experience in physician/provider coding required CPC or CCS-P certification required Advanced expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding Proficiency in Epic professional coding work queues and encoder tools
