To ensure maximum reimbursement, the full-time Radiation Oncology Coder will efficiently code all cases with high accuracy while working remotely, adhering to established coding guidelines and collaborating with the Coding Supervisor to resolve issues and prevent claim denials. Key responsibilities Review chart documentation for accuracy and completeness, resolving inconsistencies with appropriate staff Communicate with Claims Resolution Specialists and Business Office staff to clarify issues and resolve errors Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and ensure compliance with third-party and governmental regulations Required qualifications Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC) certification required High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology Coding Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications Entry-level Medical Billing and Coding Terminology preferred
