Leading a remote team, the full-time Lead Revenue Integrity Coder will ensure accurate coding and compliance for patient encounters, mentor team members, and support quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for various patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and compliance Review medical records for documentation deficiencies and collaborate with providers to obtain necessary supporting documentation Train and mentor team members while overseeing coding compliance and quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications 4+ years of coding experience in an acute care or medical office setting Nationally recognized coding certification required (such as CCS, CPC, or AAPC) 2+ years of experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 coding guidelines, and reimbursement methodologies Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and health information management
