Job Description

Working remotely within California, the full-time California Licensed Coder will accurately translate patients' medical records into standardized codes for diagnoses and treatments while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities Applies coding principles consistent with government regulatory standards and payer-specific guidelines Codes Primary Care, Radiology, and Hospitalist professional charges for assigned providers Provides education to physicians and staff on coding and documentation as needed Required qualifications One (1) year or less of professional fee coding experience High school diploma or equivalent CPC, CPC-A, or CCS-P Certification
