Supporting and leading quality assurance for Coding Services staff, the full-time remote Coding Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct regular audits of CPT/ICD10 coding selections, assist in coding analysis, provide coder feedback, and develop educational presentations based on audit results. Key responsibilities Serve as a coding expert for assigned specialties and maintain records of all audits for reference and trending Audit new and existing coders in accordance with Coding Services Department standards, identifying areas for education Collaborate with leadership to prepare and present educational materials based on audit findings and trends Required qualifications CPC or AHIMA coding certification required; CPMA certification is a plus 2-4 years of experience in a dedicated auditing position Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 coding standards Skilled in navigating EMR systems and auditing software
