To support the Faculty Practice Revenue Cycle, the full-time remote HIM Coder I will assign ICD and CPT codes for patients receiving ancillary and surgical services, with a focus on interventional radiology coding and resolving edits. Key responsibilities: Assign ICD and CPT codes for interventional radiology and other surgical services Perform Single Path Coding within EPIC, ensuring accuracy in professional and facility coding Resolve coding edits and maintain compliance with established coding procedures Required qualifications: Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC accredited coding program with a CPC, RHIT, or RHIA certification At least 3 years of professional surgical case coding experience 6 months of experience coding outpatient ancillary/surgical records Proven proficiency with computer systems relevant to coding Experience coding professional surgical cases within at least one specialty
