To support the implementation of medical and payment policies, the full-time Payment and Medical Policy Coordinator will coordinate cross-functional activities, ensure business readiness, and manage testing and post-implementation validation while working remotely from the greater Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Key responsibilities Coordinates cross-functional activities for policy implementation, ensuring alignment across various teams Supports business readiness activities, including impact assessments and implementation plans Manages testing activities related to policy implementation, ensuring documentation and communication of results Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, or related discipline, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree Experience in health plan operations, project coordination, or policy implementation Preferred certifications include Certified Coder (CCS or CPC) from AHIMA or AAPC Familiarity with claims systems and policy governance Strong organizational and coordination skills across multiple teams
