Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CPC Certified OB/GYN Coder, the full-time remote position will focus on accurately coding obstetric and gynecologic services, including primary care and preventive visits, while ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines. Key Responsibilities Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for OB/GYN services, including obstetric care and gynecologic surgeries Validate documentation for compliance with coding standards and payer guidelines, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes Collaborate with providers and billing staff to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies while protecting patient confidentiality Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of physician-based coding experience with a strong background in OB/GYN and women's health services Proficiency in coding E/M services for primary care, psychiatry, and nurse practitioner visits Comprehensive understanding of OB/GYN terminology, anatomy, and physiology CPC or CCS-P certification required; COBGC certification strongly preferred Knowledge of payer-specific billing guidelines and global obstetric package rules
