To support a growing coding team, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Orthopedic Coder will independently perform complex professional coding across multiple specialties, ensuring compliance and accuracy while working 100% remotely with flexible shifts after training. Key responsibilities Code complex professional encounters and procedures, ensuring correct sequencing and documentation alignment Resolve coding-related edits and denials by identifying root causes and coordinating documentation clarification Provide real-time guidance to peers on standard coding scenarios and participate in internal quality review programs Required qualifications High School diploma or GED required At least 3 years of experience in physician/provider coding required CPC or CCS-P certification required Advanced expertise in ICD 10 CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers Proficiency in Epic professional coding work queues and encoder tools preferred
