To support the Outpatient Coding Division, the full-time remote Certified Outpatient Coding Auditor will manage daily audit operations, develop education initiatives, and analyze coding and documentation issues to enhance compliance and reimbursement.
Key responsibilities
Conduct daily operations of audit and education initiatives for the Outpatient Coding Division
Analyze and resolve coding and documentation issues related to reimbursement and compliance
Document trends in coding inaccuracies and provide recommendations for quality improvement
Required qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in health information management or a related field preferred
Three years of outpatient coding experience; education, training, and auditing experience preferred
Active approved coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC upon hire
Successful completion of Level II Pre-employment (PET) assessment prior to hire
