Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Remote Neurology Medical Coder will review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing, reporting, and compliance. Key responsibilities: Perform accurate coding of medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines Ensure appropriate coding of documented services and obtain clarification for incomplete documentation Review and communicate coding corrections, re-bills, and denials in a timely manner Required qualifications: Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience in neurology clinic coding CPC certification from AAPC High school diploma EMR experience Strong knowledge of federal and state coding regulations and guidelines
