Medical Coder This is an on-site (not remote) Certified Medical Coding position. You will be responsible for converting medical diagnosis, equipment and processes into standardized codes that are used when filing insurance claims. You will review, analyze, and correct coding of diagnostic and procedural information based on provider documentation to adhere to coding and compliance standards. You will use established systems that make it easy for insurers to recognize treatments covered under a patient's plan. You will gather documentation to validate the coding choices, examine all parts of a patient's visit including diagnostic tests, consultations, therapies, surgeries, in-office procedures and prescribed medications.
