Job Description Job Description Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: Review medical records, including physician notes, procedure reports, and diagnostic tests, to accurately assign appropriate codes for pain management services using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements specific to pain management services, including interventional procedures, medication management, chronic pain conditions, and behavioral services. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain necessary information to support accurate coding. Conduct regular audits and coding reviews to identify errors, documentation gaps, and opportunities for improvement in coding accuracy and completeness.
