Coder I, Inpatient The Coder I, Inpatient is responsible for coding inpatient accounts less than $15,000 and any outpatient accounts, provides timely and accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for reimbursement and specific information for statistical purposes. Remains current with recognized resources - AHA Coding Clinic and Official Coding Guidelines. Groups discharges utilizing the 3M encoder selecting the appropriate DRG for reimbursement.
