The Coder Credentialed accurately codes and abstracts medical information for billing and statistical purposes, and entering the information into a computerized database. Working independently under general supervision, this role ensures timely coding and completion of patient accounts to meet established department standards and/or goals. Essential Job Function Maintains timely coding and completion of patient accounts to meet established department and regulatory standards and goals. Maintains accuracy in accordance with department and regulatory standards. Monitors uncoded accounts and performing other workflow processes to ensure optimal revenue cycle performance.
