Our client is seeking a highly experienced Certified Coder to handle core medical coding and billing tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring coding compliance, enhancing revenue capture, and contributing to process improvements within the team. This role demands independence, immediate proficiency in coding from day one, and the ability to work onsite four days a week. HIM Coder II - REMOTE *Must Reside in WA State*HIM Coders are responsible for coding a variety of services including: Ambulatory Surgery, hospital professional visits and procedures, clinic visits and procedures (including Urgent Care), Pathology and EKGs. Both ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding is performed, depending on the date of service. Coders read and interpret medical record documentation to identify codeable diagnoses, services and supplies, and assign codes as appropriate.
