Northeast Internal Medicine is a fast-paced Internal Medicine Office looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Medical Billing Coding Manager to join our team.
Office locations in Kendallville and Lagrange, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the billing department to ensure accurate and timely claim submission.
Manage the full revenue cycle including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Monitor aging reports and work with staff to resolve outstanding claims and reduce accounts receivable.
Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, government regulations, and company policies.
Train, supervise, and evaluate billing staff to maintain productivity and accuracy.
Identify billing issues, implement corrective actions, and improve workflow processes.
Work closely with providers, administration, and front office staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
