Responsibilities BH Shared Services (a UHS company) is currently seeking an experienced Certified Coder to join our established team in the Central Appeals Office . Position Summary: The Coder-Cert position provides high-quality, timely coding of diagnoses and procedures for inpatient and outpatient accounts and performs coding of diagnoses supporting multiple facilities under the CCO. The role follows CCO policies and procedures, keeps track of all coding as required, and ensures productivity is maintained. A successful candidate must have the ability to review the medical record to assign accurate ICD‑10‑CM and ICD‑10‑PCS codes, along with knowledge of all coding guidelines and UHS coding policies. Thorough knowledge of behavioral health coding and medical terminology is required.
