Department: Hospital Coding Service Shift: Day Working Hours: REMOTE- FLEXIBLE Summary: Responsible for identifying principal and secondary diagnoses, and procedures on hospital accounts with extensive knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding goals; capitalize on opportunities and manage associated coding and coding outcome risks. Assists with helping to set priorities as appropriate; takes initiatives based on knowledge, priorities and goals. The Inpatient Coder II will work with the coding team to help with improving the accuracy, integrity, and quality of coded patient data.
