Coding Specialist Performs coding/DRG and abstracting functions for medical records, quality assessment and billing purposes. Codes all Huntsville Hospital medical records with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 codes. Abstracts key data elements according to medical record review criteria. Performs coding quality assurance as needed. Education/Certification HS/GED required.
