Summary The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for services rendered across all clinic sites. This role ensures coding accuracy, compliance with federal and payer-specific regulations, and supports timely, clean claim submission within eClinicalWorks (eCW). The Medical Coder plays a key role in minimizing denials, protecting revenue integrity, and supporting the organization’s FQHC compliance and reporting requirements (including UDS and Section 330 obligations). Required Vaccines and Test Influenza, Tdap, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TB test, and Negative Drug Test results. Additional vaccines may be required.
