This position is ONSITE only. Position Overview The Cardiovascular Coding Xtern is an educational externship opportunity designed to provide hands-on training and real-world exposure to cardiovascular medical coding within a clinical practice setting. Under the supervision of experienced coding and revenue cycle professionals, the Xtern will learn to review clinical documentation and assist with the assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and modifier codes in accordance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations. This role offers practical experience in cardiology-related coding, revenue cycle processes, compliance standards, and payer guidelines.
