Busy vascular surgery practice in Western New York is seeking an Xtern for 10-12 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.. Days/times are flexible - we will work with your schedule! You will learn front office procedures such as registering a new patient, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and medical record retrieval. Time will also be spent with the billing manager to gain experience in charge entry, payment posting, coding, and A/R management. This is a great opportunity for a student or newly certified coder/biller!
