Overview The Coder position is a staff position responsible for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using an international classification of diseases. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Director the coder may be required to exercises independent judgement in applying knowledge required to facilitate the processes of health information management.
