Biller/Coder Position Valley County Health System has a current position available for a full-time Biller/Coder to join our team. This position will work 40 hours per week in the Patient Financial Services department. Responsibilities of the Coder/Biller include accurately coding and billing all financial classes in a timely manner, ensuring that payments are properly applied to individual accounts and assisting in processing secondary claims in a timely fashion in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Valley County Health System. Requirements include an associate's degree, professional coding certification to be obtained within 2 years of hire, business office experience with credit/coding, independent problem-solving skills, self-directed work experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with computers and other office equipment, and being well organized and detail oriented.
