Coder II The posted compensation range of $21.23 - $29.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. The Coder II is responsible for abstracting and assigning valid CPT, ICD-9/10, and HCPCS codes to ensure appropriate reimbursement in accordance with federal, state, and private health plans as well as organization and regulatory guidance. This position is responsible for identifying compliance concerns, trends, and educational opportunities to ensure proper coding, documentation, and accuracy of billing within their areas of responsibility/specialty.
