General Statement of Duties : The Clinic Coder is responsible for reviewing medical record documentation, posting charges consisting of CPT codes, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and appropriate modifiers. Essential Duties: Posts clinic charges. Reviews medical record documentation for accuracy to support billing. Informs manager of compliance problems or issues. Communicates with Physician and staff when query needed on patient charges.
