The Associate Director of Events hires, trains, manages and coaches approximately three to ten Event Planning/Event Sales Managers. Primary responsibility is to service group business and sell local events. This position is the second in command in the Event department. This person is assigned specific administrative responsibilities that should include supervisory duties over part of the Event department, usually Event Concierge, Administrative Assistants or Trainees. This position will typically be required to carry and achieve a quota and service groups.
