Job Description Job Description HIM / Coding Supervisor The HIM/Coding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative operations of the Health Information Management (HIM) Unit, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations governing medical records management. This role provides leadership to clerical and credentialed technical staff, manages workflow, and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of all patient health information. Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations related to medical records management, privacy, and security. Plan, assign, and supervise daily chartroom and technical operations within the HIM Unit.
