Job Summary Evaluate patients records, work to resolve inaccurate charges, and assign appropriate diagnoses & procedure codes using the coding systems according to HIPPA regulations. Abstract pertinent data from patients' clinical records. Review records for reimbursement purposes and to ensure quality control.
