Outpatient Diagnostic Coder An experienced Outpatient Diagnostic Coder is sought to support a Hospital Billing (HB) outpatient coding team. This position focuses on diagnostic coding within an acute care hospital environment, including imaging, therapy services, and select outpatient procedural areas. The ideal candidate will have previous hospital outpatient coding experience and be comfortable coding a variety of outpatient encounters with minimal training. Key Responsibilities Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient hospital services. Code diagnostic imaging encounters including X-rays, MRI, CT, and biopsy-related services. Review and code therapy-related encounters including Physical Therapy (PT), Speech Therapy, Infusion Services, and Radiation Oncology.
