Job Overview :       Rockland Thoracic and Vascular Associates is a physician's office-based surgical practice located in Pomona, NY that specializes in both Thoracic and Vascular surgery. We are seeking an experienced   Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A or CPC) with at least 3 years of experience to join our team.  Strong anatomy and endovascular coding knowledge a plus.      This job requires a solid understanding of medical coding and billing practices, documentation compliance, the ability to support the Account Receviable Team with error resolution, and act as a resource to front-end and/or clinician for coding and documentation requirement questions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · High School Diploma or Equivalent · CPC Certification (or equivalent) required · CPB Certification preferred · HCC Certification preferred · At least 5 years of billing and coding experience (outpatient/medical practice coding experience preferred) · (2) Training or background in ICD-10 / CPT codes. · Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
