SUMMARY: Maintain time sensitive, confidential information of guest and IRS documentation. Reconcile assigned compliance, revenue, and cost center paperwork. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your department's guest service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine, prepare and maintain time sensitive, confidential documents required for filings
Communicate internal control problems to management
Audit and create daily MTL’s, TML’s, W2G, CTRCand file SARC, for Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31
Utilize all available information to track and report errors and unusual activity or transactions
Communicate exceptions to gaming departments and log for quarterly CTR meetings
Prepare tax request for guests and other agencies
Review daily and monthly audits on taxable jackpots and withholding
Facilitate external reviews by outside governmental agencies
Assist in record retention and destruction
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
2 year degree in Accounting; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
Preferred:
Previous casino and Title 31 experience

Required:
Accurate and detail-oriented
Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills

REQUIRED TRAINING
Treasure Island guest service training
Title 31 training
Any position-related training as determined by department manager
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional amounts of walking and standing
Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
Must be able to reach and twist routinely
Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
Must have good eye hand coordination
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in the administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
Occasionally overtime may be required
Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
Occasional work outside that can include extreme temperatures
