Medical Technologist Supervisor

- Shift / Schedule: 0700–1530 (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM); every 3rd weekend; 8-hour days

Job Summary: This is a laboratory supervisor position primarily in blood bank with some hematology responsibilities at a 100-bed licensed facility. The supervisor works on the bench 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operation of a technical area of the lab (hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology)
- Provide hands-on technical work on the bench approximately 50% of the time
Education Requirements:
- BS in clinical lab science or medical technology required
- ASCP certification or registration required
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- Must be separated from BILH for 6 months and in good standing to be considered
Required Skills:
- EPIC proficiency required
- SOFTBANK proficiency required
- Blood bank experience required
- Hematology experience required
