Automated Financial Systems (AFS) / E Recovery is looking for entry level and experienced medical billing associates for full time career opportunities at our Ronkonkoma office. Since 1990 AFS has been working on behalf of hospitals to collect on unpaid insurance claims. We are looking for hard working and reliable candidates to join our team as paid full time trainee or experienced billing specialists.

Experienced: Please apply if you have prior medical billing experience, preferably but not limited to hospital claim processing. Salary range is $20 - $30 per hr.
Responsibilities:
Review and follow-up on unpaid hospital insurance claims.
Review EOBs for payment accuracy and denials.
Appeal denials and underpayments.
Submit paper and electronic claims.
Review and process correspondence from insurance carriers and patients.
