Non-Clinical - Coder

Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder); knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines; knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes; ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training; must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application. Outpatient and ED experience. This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Pay range: (USD)15.00 hrly -(USD)21.00 hrly

Schedule Notes: This role is remote now, with 1–2 weeks of onsite training at the start - The Hiring Manager is flexible.

Experience Requirements: Must have EPIC and 3M experience CCS OR CCP certification must be from AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT. Ideal candidate has minimum 4+ years of outpatient coding experience. Need someone who has emergency department coding experience.

Work Arrangement: Starts onsite for training, then transitions to remote work once duties are mastered.

Additional Notes: Seeking certified coders with strong Inpatient coding background. Candidate should be able to work with minimal training. Skills: Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10 Required medical coders.
