We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities. This role is responsible for accurate and timely medical billing, with a strong focus on Medicare and Medicaid claims. Dental billing experience is a plus. Onsite | MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit medical (and dental, if applicable) claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers
Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer and FQHC guidelines
Resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner
Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards
Qualifications
13 years of medical billing experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid
Dental billing experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of medical billing codes, claim forms, and reimbursement processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Requirements
Must provide proof of vaccination or approved exemption
Must pass background check and drug test o Medical marijuana card is not accepted
