Summary
The Biller / Coder will provide dedicated billing and coding support for Lifestyle Medicine and Jefferson Comprehensive Weight Management (JCWM) programs at Jefferson Health. This role ensures accurate coding, timely charge capture, and compliant claims submission for individual visits, group visits, and longitudinal care models that are central to both programs.
Key Responsibilities Review clinical documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Lifestyle Medicine and JCWM services
Ensure accurate charge entry for individual visits, group visits, and follow-up encounters
Submit, track, and reconcile insurance claims; resolve denials and rejections
Collaborate with providers, operations, and revenue cycle teams to clarify documentation and coding requirements
Maintain compliance with CMS, payer, and Jefferson Health billing and documentation standards
Support audits, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives across both programs
