Responsible for duties relating to the coding and assignment of diagnoses and procedures, and abstracting of medical records.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. Certified Coding Associate (CCA) by AHIMA preferred.
2. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by AAPC preferred.
Previous Experience:
1. Computers and other office equipment
2. Keyboarding/computer skills
3. Knowledge of medical terminology.
4. Previous experience working in Medical records and/or a physician's clinic preferred.
